Aspire One Up R1 Disposable Vape Review

Aspire One Up R1 Disposable Vape Review

January 30, 2023 Off By VapeGeezer

I recently got my hands on the Aspire One Up R1 Disposable Vape and I was eager to see if it lived up to its claim of being cost-effective and environmentally friendly. As I’ve said before, I’m not a fan of disposable vapes for the most part, so anything that moves users to a more sustainable option gets a thumbs up from me. In this review, I’ll share my thoughts on its look and feel, usability, and flavour.

Look and Feel

The Aspire One Up R1 is a simple device with a cylindrical shape about the width of my palm, making it comfortable to hold. Grooves around the circumference provide a good grip, and the flat panels on the front and back allow me to set it down without it rolling. There are five colour options available, I went with the white, but I think the black would have been a better choice as it gives a more sophisticated look. Overall, it has a plain appearance, but it’s decent for the price and is portable.

Usability

I like how the Aspire One Up R1 is low maintenance and simple to use. It’s perfect for those who want to make the transition from disposable vapes to reusable kits. Refilling is easy with a rubber bung on the side of the tank that opens easily. I’ve refilled it multiple times without any issues and the coil hasn’t burned out yet. The R1 is an auto draw device without any buttons, making it even more convenient to use.

The only downside is that you can’t replace the coil, meaning the whole unit is still disposed of once it burns out.

Flavour

I tested the Aspire One Up R1 using DNA Vapes Blueberry Sour Raspberry E-Liquid. I have to say I was really surprised by the accuracy of the flavour. Considering the price, the flavour production is on par with more advanced pod kits like the OXVA Xlim, which is one of my favourite devices for flavour output.

How Much Does An Aspire One Up R1 Cost?

I bought this kit for £7.99. That’s a little more expensive than a regular disposable, but the fact that pre-filled disposables are restricted to a single 2ml tank by UK Law, and I’ve refilled this tank over a dozen times speaks for itself. If you vape disposables, give this a try, it will save you so much money!

Final Verdict

I genuinely enjoyed using the Aspire One Up R1, especially because it offers a more sustainable alternative to disposable vapes. This device is ideal for vapers looking to make the transition from disposables to refillable kits or anyone who enjoys disposable vapes and wants to save money with a more environmentally friendly product.

Where To Buy The Aspire One Up R1 Disposable Vape

I bought my Aspire One Up R1 from SMKD, however it’s worth checking out their deals page as they currently have an offer on where you can get the kit free when you buy ten bottles of V4 Nic Salts.
