As a seasoned vaper and pod kit enthusiast, I’ve spent the past 7 months testing and reviewing a wide range of pod vape kits to determine which ones stand out from the crowd. The first thing I look for when reviewing a kit is how well it translates the flavour of the e-liquid into vapour. Like all the other entries on this list, the Aspire Gotek X is able to do this with no problem. It’s a great kit for beginners, but the tiny 650mAh battery and lack of features, including charge indicators, prevent this kit from ranking any higher on the list.

If you’re searching for a great looking pod kit, then the Freemax Galex Nano is a good shout. It sports multicoloured LEDs that light up the chipset inside and the industrial paneling effect on the body give the kit a futuristic feel. The battery lasts a little longer than the Gotek X, but the ability to alter the wattage and lighting settings give this kit a clear advantage over it’s rival, and earn it a higher place on the list.

Although the kit lacks some of the features of the Galex Nano, it’s ability to deliver a strong flavour profile and longer lasting 900mAh battery give it a clear lead in my opinion. It’s aluminium body is a solid presence in your hand and it’s simplicity makes it the perfect kit for beginners, as well as a welcome companion to seasoned vapers.
